![]() ![]() Even going in knowing whats good, who's the special heaven/hell fights can rip you a new one. It should be like $5, a challenging srpg is worth that. (also try spectral force 3 solely for the CHALLENGING srpg castle conquest combat- there is no story really, senseless cutscenes and it's a game built on relationships and references that must be exclusive to Japan or something because.?.). I do believe it had a "decent" challenge to it, it does got the toon look. I would think it is worth a play once, especially if you got the 360. It's got sort of job classes iirc and this weird mechanic where you need to check every placement of grass/rock for "nothings" to trade in at a secret nothing store for power gear. ![]() You can learn field skills to repel enemies and such. I don't think much of the story/characters in BD, but the gameplay is good. It looks sort of DQ and is absent that DQ charm imo. This is THE game to keep a 360 around for isn't it? Trails is simultaneously a trope fest, trope free, sow paced, well paced, nice and short, way too long, great world building, terrible world building. If someone requests a game completely free of tropes, trails is the go to. If someone wants a trope fest, Trails fits the bill. If someone wants a deep involving original story then trails fits the bill. I believe this is because Trails is so similar to other games.
